Mark Christensen
Mark is the Studio Owner and Chief Mastering Engineer at Engine Room Audio in New York City. He opened the New York Audio Institute, hosted at Engine Room Audio, to help bring up the next generation of audio engineers.
Mark leads masterclasses on Acoustics, Studio Design, Microphones, Mastering, Characteristics of Sound, Hybrid Mixing, Compression and Limiting, Intro to Music Business, Session Etiquette, Critical listening, and Introduction to Surround Sound.

Scott Lee
Scott Lee is the Studio Manager of Engine Room Audio in New York City. Along with business partner Mark Christensen, Scott opened the New York Audio Institute, hosted at Engine Room Audio, to teach and mentor students on how to record, mix, master, and produce records that meet the music industry’s highest standards.
Scott is a co-founder of NYAI and leads masterclasses on Music business, Artist Management, and Studio Operations.

Patrick Fruehling
Pat, graduated from Muhlenberg College with a business degree. He then discovered a deep passion for audio engineering while recording drums and demo tapes for his own musical projects. Combining his expertise in business, music, and technology, Pat built a clientele and relocated to Manhattan, gaining valuable experience in renowned studios across the city. Today, Pat excels in live studio band recording, collaborating with diverse artists to create exceptional music.
Pat is a 1-on-1 mentor at NYAI and leads masterclasses on Band Tracking, Hybrid Mixing, Micing Drums, and Vocal Tracking.

Greg Fils-Aimé
Greg is a producer, keyboardist, and engineer who spent nearly 10 years in the New York City music scene before settling down at Engine Room Audio. After graduating from SUNY College of Oneonta with a degree in Music Industry, he landed an internship in the A&R Department at Island Def Jam Music Group working on projects for acts like Ne-Yo, Kanye West, Ludacris, Duffy, and Fall Out Boy.
Greg is a 1-on-1 mentor at NYAI and leads masterclasses on Hybrid-Mixing, Vocal Production, and Vocal Tracking.

Alessandro De Gennaro
Alessandro is a recording and mixing engineer as well as a producer. He’s worked with several artists and podcast hosts in numerous different genres.

Trae is a skilled audio engineer and producer hailing from New Jersey, boasting extensive experience across diverse music genres. He is adept with Ableton Live, Logic Pro X., and ProTools.

Pat Cheiban
Pat Cheiban is a multi-instrumentalist producer and engineer. His diverse credits include prominent figures in hip-hop, indie rock, and popular podcasts. Currently is touring as the guitarist for the band A Beacon School.
